Determination of Application Need

The first step in the selection of pneumatic equipment is the determination of the necessary force, movement distance, working speed, number of cycles and ambient conditions. Only the selections made according to the connection measure can negatively affect the system performance.

The diameter and stroke distance of pneumatic cylinders should be calculated according to the force required by the application. Large equipment use from the tension can improve air consumption.

Valve and Air Preparation Equipment

The flow capacity of the direction control valves should be suitable for the application of response time and control type. A low-capacity valve can cause the cylinder movements slow and pressure losses.

Air preparation groups consisting of filter, regulator and lubricant when necessary, provide clear and controlled air delivery to pneumatic equipment.

Energy Consumption and Reliability

Accurately sized hoses, connections and valves reduce unnecessary pressure losses. The regulator of the pressure needed at the point of use also helps to keep the air consumption under control.
