What is System Optimization?

Compressed air system optimization does not only mean the removal of compressor change or leakage. The whole range of production, conditioning, storage, distribution and usage points should be assessed together.

Each component in the system affects total energy consumption and air quality. The wrong application at some point can negatively affect the capacity and performance of other equipment.

Current Status Analysis

The optimization should be started with pressure, flow, energy consumption, chewing point and pressure loss measurements. Air demands varying according to the load conditions of compressors and production shifts should be examined.

Leakages should be determined by determining unnecessary blow points, high pressure-powered equipment and inappropriate piping sections.

Sustainable Improvement Approach

Monitoring, maintenance and measurement processes should be continued to be maintained after optimization. Changes and air quality values in energy consumption should be monitored regularly.

Engineering-based system optimization creates a more stable, reliable and sustainable production infrastructure while reducing operating costs.
