Compressed air system directly affects the operation of machines and automation equipment in many production plants. A malfunction occurring in the system can stop the whole production line, not a single equipment.

With periodic maintenance studies, the worn parts can be detected before the rising pressure losses and performance dropping fail.

What Should Be Controlled in Maintenance Scope

Compressors, dryers, filters, automatic drains, air tanks and pipelines should be controlled regularly. Filter elements, desiccant materials and drain systems should be evaluated at designated intervals.

During maintenance, only parts change should not be made; performance values should be examined, such as working pressure, temperature, pressure difference, chew point and energy consumption.

Creating Maintenance Records

The registration of the processes, measurements and modified parts that are realized allows the system performance to be compared with past periods.

Planned and registered maintenance approach contributes to the predictability of maintenance costs and prolonging the life of equipment.
